Have you ever taken the time to understand what are the things and situations that cause some of the strongest reactions and emotional responses in you? We are not getting all psychological here. But I strongly believe that somehow we should try to understand these things, because they affect our daily life. Maybe it is an image, perhaps is a rude driver who cuts you off in the middle of traffic on your way to work. Perhaps it is the anger you feel when you are wrongfully and unjustly accused at home or at work. Perhaps it is frustration that results from not having enough money to meet your needs or maintain your lifestyle. If we react to our circumstances in a sinful and worldly way, desperation can cause you to sin. Have you ever wondered at what point in our lives emotions and reactions turn into sin?
